Case Managers (Both CAP-MR/DD and Targeted Case Management)
Whiteville, and Lumberton Offices

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, nursing, occupational therapy, vocational rehabilitation, therapeutic recreation, or human resource management (human services track), and two years of experience working with special population groups; OR a master’s degree in one of the fields listed above and one year of similar work experience.

Preference will be given to applicants that have experience working with children and adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities.

Summary of Work:

Activities of these positions involve provision of case management services for children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disability disorders.  Duties include intakes, assessments to determine appropriate referrals, PCP development, assist in the development and provision of nontraditional community based programs/services and consultation to community agencies on behalf of clients with serious emotional disorders and their families.  Obtaining State Funded or Value Options authorizations is essential for clients on these case loads.
